Surindra Engineering Co.

Surindra Engineering Co. is located at Plot No. 559 in Phase-2 of GIDC, Vatva. If you ever come by this way, you will see that it is a very practical sort of place. There are no glass windows or plush carpets here. Instead, you will find plenty of iron, tools, and the smell of grease that seems to hang in the air no matter how much we clean. The workshop at Plot 559 is where we spend almost all of our time. We aren’t the type of people who sit behind desks all day long. Most of us have calluses on our hands and grease under our fingernails from working with the machinery. The morning routine is always the same. We open up the big shutters, check the list of what needs fixing or making, and then we just get to it. The neighbors around us in Phase-2 are all doing similar things, so there is always a lot of clanging and banging going on in the background. It can get pretty hot in the summer, but we have a couple of big fans that keep the air moving a little bit. We take our work seriously, but we don't feel the need to dress it up with big words. We just make sure that whatever leaves our shop is done the way it was supposed to be done. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
