P.B. Pattern Engineering

Our place is over in G.I.D.C. Odhav, right across from the Odhav Police Station. It is a big industrial area, so there is always noise and trucks moving around. P.B. Pattern Engineering has been in this unit, L-623/2, for some time. We are close to Adinath Nagar. Most of what we do involves making patterns for engineering firms around here. It isn't a glamorous place. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the machines work fine. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and measuring things twice. If you miss a millimeter, the whole casting is ruined. That is the thing about pattern engineering. You have to be patient. The tea stall nearby is where we usually take a break in the afternoon. It gets hot in the shed during the summer months, especially in an industrial zone like Odhav. We just keep the fans running and stay focused on the wood or the metal we are shaping. The police station across the road is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We don't have a website or a sales team. Usually, someone just calls or drops by with a requirement. We've got the lathes and the hand tools all set up in the back. It’s a simple setup, nothing too modern, but it gets the job done for the local factories. We just keep working until the sun goes down.
