Patel Fabrication Engineering

You can find us at Patel Fabrication Engineering, plot 125 in the Bileshwar Industrial Estate. It’s right near the GIDC area in Kathwada, which is pretty much where all the industrial work happens around here. Our shop is usually loud because of the welding and the cutting machines. It smells like metal and oil most of the day. We do a lot of fabrication work, mostly custom stuff that people bring to us when they can't find what they need in a store. It’s hands-on work. My hands are usually stained with something or other by the end of the shift. We have a few guys who have been with us since we opened. We aren't a massive factory with robots. We do things the old-fashioned way with tools and a bit of sweat. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because the materials aren't quite right, but we always finish it. The industrial estate can be a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with it, but once you find us, you'll see we're just a bunch of regular people working hard. We don't have a fancy front desk or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't holding a torch at that moment. It’s a busy life, but it’s good to see something being built from scratch every day. That's just how we work.
