Paras Hair & Care

Paras Hair & Care is located right beside the Bage Firdosh Polish Line in Amraiwadi. We are on the Bhagvatinagar Nagar Road, which is a very busy and dusty part of the city. The area is full of workshops and small businesses, so there is always the sound of machinery or trucks passing by. Our shop is quite simple. We have a front door that stays open most of the time to let some air in, though it brings in the dust too. Inside, we have two or three chairs and a long mirror that runs along the wall. We keep our towels stacked on a wooden shelf and the water spray bottles are always full. Many of our customers are workers from the Polish Line or residents from the Bhagvatinagar area. They come in with grease on their hands or dust on their clothes after a long shift. We talk about the work day and the local news while we cut their hair. The shop has a concrete floor and some old fans that rattle a bit when they are on high speed. It isn't a place for luxury, just a practical spot for a trim or a shave. We spend our days here from morning until late evening, watching the traffic on the road and greeting the people we know. It is a tough neighborhood but we have our place in it.
