Dhara Creation

Dhara Creation is up on the 2nd floor of the Abhishek Complex, in room 214. We are right across the street from the Sunrise Restaurant. If you know the area near the Kalupur Railway Station, then you know it’s one of the busiest spots you can find in the city. There is always a crowd, and the noise from the station and the constant traffic is something you just have to live with. Being on the second floor helps a little bit with the street noise, but not very much. We do our creative work here in these rooms. It’s not a huge studio, just a few rooms filled with different materials and machines. We don’t have a fancy showroom for people to browse. Most of the time, the work tables are covered in fabric scraps and bits of thread. We’ve been in Abhishek Complex for a while, and the people in the other offices are mostly friendly neighbors. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow and steep, and the elevator doesn't always work like it should on hot days. We spend our days cutting, sewing, and packing things up into boxes. It’s a lot of manual work and it can get tiring for the eyes after a few hours. We don't have a marketing department to write pretty words. We are just a bunch of people making things near the station. It’s a bit messy but we get it done.
