Our setup is located in Jamalapada, specifically at Kashirambhai Gamajbhai Birari’s place in the Nisal Falia area. This is in the Dang district, which is a very different part of Gujarat compared to the big cities. It is much greener here, but the roads can be a challenge, especially when it rains during the monsoon. We are a farmer producer company, so our work is deeply tied to the land and the people living here. We don't have a formal office building. We mostly work out of the house or meet people where they are. It’s a very personal way of running things for Otlo Farmer Producer Company Limited. You won't find any corporate logos or fancy reception desks here. We just sit together and figure out how to manage the crops and the sales for the community. The pace of life in Jamalapada is slow, but the work is hard. We deal with whatever problems come up, like transport issues or bad weather affecting the harvest. Everyone in the Falia knows where we are. We spend a lot of time listening to the farmers and trying to coordinate things so everyone gets a fair deal. It is a simple operation based on trust and being part of the local community. There isn't much in the way of paperwork compared to the big city firms, but we keep track of what matters. It’s just us trying to make a living.
