Om Salon

Our shop, Om Salon, is tucked away in Vrajvihar 3, which is on Prerna Tirth Derasar Road in the Satellite area. We are at Shop No. F/30, right near Ratnamani Farm. It’s a decent area of Ahmedabad, fairly quiet compared to the main roads. We’ve been running this salon for a while. It’s mostly a one or two-person operation on most days. We handle hair cutting, styling, and some basic grooming for the people living in the surrounding societies. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into it. We have a few shelves for our products and the usual salon chairs. The road outside can get a bit busy during temple hours because of the Derasar nearby, but otherwise, it’s a calm spot. We spend a lot of our time just maintaining the place and waiting for the next person to walk through the door. We don't have any big marketing slogans or mission statements. We just try to do what the customer asks for. The lighting in here is okay, and we keep the place as clean as we can, though there’s always a bit of dust from the road. We’ve grown to know the residents of Vrajvihar and the nearby blocks quite well. It’s a steady life. We open up in the morning, do our work, and close up when the sun goes down. It’s a practical, everyday business for us and our local clients.
