Om Sai Hair Salon

You can find Om Sai Hair Salon on the ground floor of Shreeji Tower. We are over on Drive-In Road in the Gurukul area. It is a very busy spot because we are right opposite Himalaya Mall and tucked behind the ICICI Bank. There is always a lot of activity outside with people shopping or going to the bank. Our shop is number 11. It is a basic setup with the usual mirrors and chairs lined up against the wall. We have been in this location for a long time. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it clean, though hair piles up fast when we are busy. We don't have any fancy decorations or soft lighting. It is just a practical place for a haircut. Many of our customers are people who work in the mall or live in the nearby towers. They come in for a quick trim or a shave before they head out. The air conditioner works most of the time, which is good because Ahmedabad gets so hot. We don't talk much unless the customer wants to, we just focus on the hair. It is a quiet life inside the shop even though the road outside is always loud with horns and traffic. We open the shutters early and keep going until the mall lights start to dim at night. It is just regular work for us.
