Ambica Engineering And Wire Industries

We are based out in the G.I.D.C. Estate in Odhav, specifically at L-44/45. It’s an industrial area, so it’s usually pretty noisy and there’s always a truck or two blocking the road. We deal with engineering and wires, which means the machines are running most of the day. There is a lot of metal around and it can get quite warm in the summer. We don't have a fancy front desk; you usually just walk in and find someone in overalls or at a cluttered desk near the entrance. Most of our staff have been here for a long time and they know exactly how the equipment works. We spend our time making sure the wire comes out right and the orders are packed up for the evening pickup. It's greasy work sometimes, and your hands never stay clean for long. We have a small area where we sit down for lunch together. It’s not much, just some chairs and a table. The roof rattles a bit when the wind picks up, but we’re used to it. We don't really spend money on making the place look pretty because we're too busy making sure the production doesn't stop. It’s just a hard-working shop in a busy part of Odhav. There is always a pile of scrap metal in the corner waiting to be moved. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
