Nirmala Overseas

We are over at Plot No. 1435 in New Madhupura. It’s a busy area and we’ve been here for a while now. Most days start pretty early because there is always something to move or someone calling about an order. New Madhupura has its own rhythm, you know? The trucks come and go and the dust settles on the desk if you don't wipe it every single morning. We don't have a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get the work done. People know us by the sign out front. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time looking at inventory lists than anything else, but that’s just how the overseas trade business works. We keep our records in stacks and try to keep track of every shipment that comes through the door. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is. The neighbors around Plot 1435 are mostly doing the same thing, so there’s a lot of noise during the day. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the transporters to arrive. It’s a simple setup. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just show up, handle the paperwork, check the goods, and make sure things get to where they need to go. It is a lot of physical work and sometimes the weather makes it harder, but we are used to it by now.
