New Minar Hair Saloon

If you are walking down Khamasa Road, you will find us right opposite the Municipal Corporation building. It is a very busy part of Ahmedabad, so there is never a quiet moment. The buses go past, the vendors are shouting, and there is always a crowd near the corporation office. Our saloon has been here for years, and we have seen the road change quite a bit. Inside, it is a different world. We have the old-style chairs that are actually quite comfortable once you sit down. The smell of the shaving cream and the sound of the clippers is what you notice first. We do hair cuts for all ages, from little kids who can't sit still to the older men who have been coming to us since we first opened. Sometimes we have a bit of a queue, so people stand outside or lean against the wall and chat. We don't use any of those expensive machines you see in the malls. We just use our hands and the tools we have used for a long time. It is honest work. We make sure the towels are washed and the floor is clean, even if the dust from the road tries to get in every time the door opens. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a reliable place where you can get a good shave and a haircut for a fair price. That is how we do things.
