New Geek Hair & Care

Our place is called New Geek Hair & Care. We are right at the Paldi Cross Road in the Paldi area. It’s a busy intersection, and we are situated right opposite Hotel Dev. If you’re around Paldi, you’ve probably seen our sign while waiting at the light. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve got enough space for a few people to sit and wait their turn. We handle hair care mostly, just the usual stuff like cuts and basic styling. We aren't trying to be a high-end salon with expensive products. It’s more of a place where you can just drop in. The atmosphere is pretty casual most days. We wear our regular clothes and talk to everyone who walks in. The Paldi area is always full of students and office workers, so we get a good mix of different people every day. Sometimes the shop gets a bit hectic when three or four people walk in at once. We don't have a receptionist, so we just manage the queue ourselves as we go. The mirrors are a bit old, and the chairs have some wear from use, but they work just fine for what we need. We’ve been at this spot for some time now and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. But we just keep doing our thing and serving the locals. It’s a simple business. We focus on the hair and making sure people leave looking a bit better than when they came in.
