New Ambica Hair Cuting is located in the Raipur area of Ahmedabad. We are situated right opposite Vivekanand College. Because we are so close to the college, we see a lot of students coming in between their classes for a quick trim or to get ready for some event. It is a lively spot to be in. The shop name is simple, and so is the way we run things here. We have been in Raipur for a long time. The building is older, which gives the place a bit of character, I suppose. It is not a very big shop, just enough room for a couple of chairs and a bench for people to wait on while they look out at the street. It is just a place to get your hair cut and maybe chat for a minute. The noise of the city is always there, and you can hear the bells from the cycles and the engines of the rickshaws passing by all day. We start our day early to catch the people on their way to work or school. It is a steady rhythm we have developed here. We know the tea seller nearby and the other shop owners on the street.
