Vadilal Industries Ltd.

Vadilal House is located over in the Shrimali Society, right near the Navrangpura Railway Crossing in Ahmedabad. This has been our main office for quite a long time. If you're from around here, you probably know the building or have driven past it while waiting for a train to go by. It’s a busy spot in the city. Inside, it’s mostly people working on the logistics of getting our products out to the shops. Since we deal with things that need to stay cold, there’s a lot of coordination involved with the trucks and the cold storage units. It’s a big operation, but we try to keep things feeling a bit more personal in the office. The building is older but it’s sturdy and has a lot of history for us. We have people who have worked here for decades, literally. Sometimes the traffic around Navrangpura makes it a bit of a headache to get to work on time, but that’s just life in Ahmedabad. We aren't really into the whole corporate polish thing; we just want to make sure the distribution is running smoothly and that the freezer trucks are on their routes. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the inventory matches up. We don’t spend much time on big speeches or fancy slogans. It’s more about the day-to-day grind of keeping a food business running in the heat. It’s a lot of work, but someone has to do it.
