We are based at C-1, Silver Estate, which is right behind the SBI near the Narol Cross Road in Ahmedabad. If you know Narol, you know it’s one of the busiest hubs for transport and logistics in the city. There’s a constant flow of heavy vehicles and the air is always thick with the sound of horns and engines. Our office is right in the thick of it. It’s a straightforward setup where we manage the movement of goods and handle all the logistical headaches that come with it. We have a few desks, some benches for the drivers to sit on while they wait for their papers, and a lot of logbooks. The heat in Ahmedabad can be brutal, so we have a few fans going all day to keep the air moving. Most of our work involves coordinating pickups and deliveries, which means we are on the phone for hours on end. Being behind the bank makes us a bit easier to find, though the estate itself can be a bit of a maze if you haven't been here before. We don't have any fancy mission statements or decorated walls. It’s just a workplace where we try to keep track of where everything is and when it’s going to get to its destination. It’s messy, loud, and busy, but that’s the nature of the logistics business in this part of town. Sometimes the internet goes down, but we manage with our mobile phones until it comes back.
