Dexters Logistics Pvt. Ltd. is set up at Vishal Estate on the Maha Gujarat Industrial Estate. We are right near the Sarottam Hotel on the Sarkhej Bavala National Highway. Being so close to the highway means there is always a lot of movement happening around us. We have trucks coming in at odd hours, drivers looking for their paperwork, and boxes being moved around the clock. Our office stays busy and it can get a bit chaotic when the phones start ringing all at once. We handle the moving of goods for all sorts of different businesses. It takes a lot of coordination to make sure things get from one place to another without too much trouble along the way. Sometimes the heavy traffic on the national highway messes up the whole schedule, which is frustrating for everyone involved. We have a small team here who knows the different routes and shortcuts pretty well. It isn't a glamorous job, mostly looking at manifests and talking to transporters over the phone. The dust from the main road seems to get everywhere, so we are constantly cleaning off our desks. We don't have a big corporate feel at all; it is more like a group of regular people just trying to keep the freight moving. We have been in this spot for a bit and most regulars know where to park.
