Torrant Instruments

We are Torrant Instruments, located out on Dehgam Road in Naroda, right across from the Amarnath Estate at 518/1. If you pass the G.E.B. office, you are pretty much there. It’s an industrial kind of area, so it gets dusty and busy with trucks coming and going all the time. We work with instruments and technical tools. It’s the kind of job where you have to pay attention to small details, or things just don't work right. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get the work done. Most days involve a lot of checking gauges, fixing things that aren't calibrated correctly, and talking to people who need specific parts. We've got a small team here. Everyone knows what they’re doing. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the time, our hands are busy with tools. It gets hot in the workshop during the summer months, but we’re used to it by now. We take our tea breaks together and then get back to whatever is on the bench. People from the nearby estates often drop by when they have a problem with their equipment. We try to help them out. It’s a steady pace. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the instruments we handle are doing what they are supposed to do for the folks who buy them. That's the way we've always operated here.
