Sai Engineering

Our workshop is at Plot No. 5 in the Umiya Estate, just off Galaxy Cinema Road. It’s a small industrial estate where everyone knows each other’s business. At Sai Engineering, we do a lot of metal work and machining. We have a few lathes and some welding equipment that stay busy most of the day. The sound of metal hitting metal is pretty much the soundtrack to our lives here. It’s not a polished corporate office. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots on it from the machines. We don't really have a receptionist or anyone like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us covered in grease or wearing a welding mask. We just take in the drawings people bring us and try to make the parts fit. Galaxy Cinema Road can get pretty crowded when a popular movie is playing, but back in the estate, it stays mostly focused on the work. We like it here because we have enough space for our machines and we can make as much noise as we need to without bothering anyone. Most of our tools have been with us for years. We take care of them and they keep working for us. It’s a simple setup for people who like building things with their hands. We don't have any big slogans or flashy signs. We just finish one job and then start on the next one that comes through the door. It is steady work.
