If you come down to Naroda, you will find Premier Engeering Equipment Mfg Co at Plot No. 182/13-14 in the Gidc Estate. It is a large space because the equipment we make takes up a lot of room. We have big overhead cranes and welding stations set up everywhere. The sound of grinding and sparks flying is pretty much the soundtrack to our entire day. We make engineering parts and machines that other companies use for their production. It is heavy work. You have to be strong to handle some of the steel plates we use. Some days are long, especially when we are trying to finish a big assembly for a client. The floor is always covered in iron filings despite our best efforts to sweep up twice a day. We have a mix of young guys learning the trade and older men who have been doing this for thirty years. They are the ones who know exactly how a machine should sound when it is running right. We do not have a fancy showroom. You just walk into the workshop and see us working. The address is easy to find once you get into the Naroda industrial area. We do not talk much about visions; we just focus on making sure the welds are solid and the dimensions are right. It is practical, honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
