Nagalakshmi Exports

We operate out of A-44 in Ramkrishna Society. It’s a quiet spot near Uttam Nagar on the Nikol Gam Road. Dealing with exports means a lot of time on the phone and even more time filling out forms. I started this in a small room and it just grew from there. We handle a variety of goods depending on what is in demand at the time. The area around Nikol has changed a lot over the years with more traffic and new shops appearing every month. My desk is usually covered in shipping documents and samples of whatever we are moving that month. It’s not a big corporate setup at all. It’s just me and a couple of helpers who come in during the day. We spend a lot of time talking to transport agents and making sure the containers are booked. Sometimes things get stuck at the port and those are the stressful days. You have to be patient in this business. My wife helps with the emails when she has time. We know the neighbors well and they don't mind the occasional delivery truck stopping by the house to pick up samples. It’s a practical way to work. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address on the gate. Most of our work happens through old connections we’ve built up over time. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure things are right. We just keep our heads down and work.
