If you are walking down K. Kamaraj Road, you will find us on the 1St Floor at number 294, right across from the Commercial Street Entrance. Mysore Saree Udyog (P) Ltd. has been part of this area for a long time. The shop is filled with stacks of fabric and sarees in almost every color you can think of. It can get a bit crowded on the weekends when people are out shopping, but we like the energy. Our staff spends a lot of time unfolding and folding back silks and cottons. We have all kinds of stuff, from plain daily wear to things that are a bit more decorated for special days. It is a lot of fabric to keep track of, honestly. Sometimes the lighting isn't perfect in every corner, but the colors of the sarees usually brighten things up anyway. We are just a local business trying to help people find what they need without too much fuss. People come in, look at the shelves, touch the material, and we show them what is available. It is a very hands-on kind of place. We don't have a big corporate office; it is just the store and the people working here. It feels like home to many of us who have worked here for years. You just walk up to the first floor and the whole space is dedicated to the textiles we carry. It's a bit dusty with all the threads, but that's part of the trade.
