Our office for Mott Macdonald Pvt.Ltd is at 40, Shreekunj Society, which is near Rannapark in the Ghatlodia area. It’s right opposite Prabhat Chowk, so it’s a pretty easy landmark for anyone around here. Ahmedabad can get incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure the coolers are running right. This location is more of a residential society setup, so it feels very local and grounded. We aren't in some high-rise office park; we’re right there in the neighborhood. You can hear the sounds of the local market and people going about their business outside. Our space is simple, with just the basic furniture we need to do our jobs. We’ve been part of this society for a while, and it feels like we belong here. The walk to the main road isn't far if we need to catch a bus or grab some lunch. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy entrance, just a door with our name on it. Inside, it's just us and our computers. We drink a lot of chai and keep the work moving. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Most of the staff live nearby, so it’s a short commute for them. We like the convenience and the familiar feel of Ghatlodia. It’s just home for us. We aren't looking to move anytime soon, as this place fits us just fine.
