Our branch of Mott Macdonald Pvt Ltd is tucked away in B/105 Amrapali-3, right on Judges Bunglow Road in Bodakdev. Anyone who knows Ahmedabad understands that this part of town gets incredibly busy during the day. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and it’s basically become our second home. Satellite is a lively area, so there is always something happening outside the windows. The office itself is just a regular workspace filled with desks and old files. We do not have fancy paintings on the walls or a big reception desk. It’s mostly just us working on our computers and talking about the day's tasks. The tea lady comes by in the afternoon, which is usually the highlight of our break. Getting here can be a bit of a struggle with the traffic on the main road, but we are used to it by now. We like being near the city center because everything we need is close by. Sometimes we go out for a quick lunch at one of the stalls nearby. The building is older, but it is reliable. We have enough space for the team, and that is what really matters. It is not a corporate showroom, just a place where the work happens. We keep things pretty straightforward here and don’t worry too much about the small stuff. It’s just how we run things in this branch.
