Our office is at Bunglow 3 in the Guru Sandipani Society. It's right near the Vijay Cross Road in Ahmedabad, which is usually quite a busy spot. If you know the area, you know how the traffic can get during peak hours. The bungalow itself is a bit different from the usual high-rise offices you see around the city. It feels more like a home, which is nice when you are spending eight or nine hours a day here. We have some trees around the compound that give a bit of shade. Sometimes you can hear the birds, and other times it is just the sound of scooters zooming by outside on the main road. The stairs inside are a bit narrow, so we have to watch our step. It is not some polished corporate hub with a marble lobby. It’s just where Mott Macdoanld India Pvt Ltd is based in this part of town. Most of us bring lunch from home and eat together. We don’t really have a canteen or anything fancy. Just a fridge and a microwave in the corner. Ahmedabad is getting hotter by the day, so the AC is always running. Getting here is easy enough if you take the cross road, though parking can be a real headache some mornings. We just make it work. It's a simple setup for a group of people just trying to get their tasks done without much fuss.
