Mother Teresa World School

Mother Teresa World School is tucked away in Vadsar, which is part of the Gandhinagar area. The address is 663 Vadsar, and if you’ve ever driven through this part of Gujarat, you know it has its own pace. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which is actually quite nice for a school. We have a fair amount of space here, and the kids definitely use every inch of it during their breaks. The building is solid and has that lived-in feel that comes from years of students running through the hallways. Our staff members come from all over Gandhinagar and even some from Ahmedabad, so there’s a lot of commuting involved every day. We don't have any fancy receptionists with scripts; usually, you just talk to whoever is near the front desk if you have a question. The classrooms have high ceilings which helps with the heat, though we still rely on the fans quite a bit. We spend a lot of time on the basic subjects and making sure everyone is keeping up with their homework. It’s not a place for showing off. We just want to make sure the kids learn what they need to and get home safely. Sometimes the garden area gets a bit overgrown before we can get to it, but it’s a real place with real people working here. It’s a quiet life at Vadsar Gandhinagar.
