Mother Teresa Memorial School

We've been here on Shela Ghuma Telav Road for a while now. People in Ghuma know the spot. It's just a regular school where we try to get the kids to learn their lessons and behave a bit. The morning starts early with the buses coming in, and it gets pretty loud. We have teachers who show up every day and do their best with the books and the blackboard. Ahmedabad can get hot, so we try to keep things comfortable inside. It's not a fancy place, just somewhere for local families to send their children. We focus on the daily stuff, like making sure homework gets done and the kids understand what they're reading. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when there's an event or a holiday coming up. We see the same faces every morning at the gate. The road outside can get a bit busy during drop-off times. We just handle the day-to-day work of running a school here in this part of town. Parents stop by to chat about how their kids are doing, and we listen. It's just how things go here at Mother Teresa Memorial School. We aren't trying to be anything huge, just a school that helps the neighborhood kids get through their classes. There’s always something to fix or a classroom to clean, but that’s just part of the job. We're glad to be a part of the Ghuma community.
