Monarch Ii Hair Art & Beauty Parlour is situated on the ground floor of Pushp Industrial Park. We are at Shop No 16, which is on Rakhial Road. It’s an interesting spot because there are so many businesses around here. The Vivekanad Complex is close by, and the Jain Temple is right opposite us. Also, the old Patel Mill is nearby. Being on the ground floor is good because people can just walk right in from the street. It’s a mix of a hair shop and a beauty parlour. I’ve got some sections for hair and a small area for beauty things. The industrial park gets quite dusty, so I have to keep the door shut most of the time. The interior is simple, just plain walls and the equipment I need. I started this place a while back and it’s grown a bit, but it’s still just a local shop. I see a lot of people who work in the industrial park coming in for a quick trim during their break. We have a few chairs and the usual mirrors. It’s not a quiet place because of the traffic on Rakhial Road and the sounds of the mills and workshops. But it’s home for me. I spend my days here, keeping the tools clean and waiting for the next person to walk through the door. It’s honest work and I’m glad to be part of this neighborhood in Ahmedabad.
