Momai Hair Salon

Momai Hair Salon is tucked away in the basement of Keshavkunj Complex. It’s Shop Number 5, right on Narayan Nagar Road in the Paldi area. If you’re driving toward the Ansh Petrol Pump, you’ll see the complex just across the street. Being underground means it stays a bit cooler in the Ahmedabad heat, which is a relief. We focus mostly on men’s haircuts and shaves. It’s a small shop with just a few chairs and the usual tools on the counter. I’ve been cutting hair in Paldi for a long time. Most of my customers are guys who live nearby or work at the shops on Narayan Nagar Road. They come in for a quick trim or a beard shave before heading home. There’s always a radio playing in the corner or someone talking about the cricket score. It’s a very casual place. We don’t take appointments or have a website. People just walk down the steps and wait on the bench if the chairs are full. The walls have some old posters, and the mirrors have seen better days, but they do the job. It’s a straightforward hair salon for the local crowd. We don't use expensive products, just the standard stuff that works. The petrol pump across the road is a good landmark for people who haven't visited before. It’s just me and a couple of assistants making sure everyone leaves looking a bit neater.
