Metro Engineering Works (Gheekanta)

Our workshop, Metro Engineering Works (Gheekanta), is tucked away at 667/2 on Gheekanta Road. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Panchal Yuvak Mandal and just across from the Model School. We are located in what they call the Shamal Bechar Chawl. It is a very local area with a lot of history. The sounds of the school bells and the kids playing across the street are a big part of our day. We do various engineering tasks here in the shop. It is a small place, typical of the chawl buildings in this part of town. We have our lathes and tools set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. The lighting isn't the best, but we know our machines well enough to work in any condition. Gheekanta Road is always a hub of activity. There are many small workshops like ours in the vicinity. We often see the same faces every day. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing. People usually find us because they live nearby or someone told them about our spot near the Panchal Yuvak Mandal. It is just a practical, hardworking environment where we focus on manual labor and fixing things. We take pride in just doing the job without any fuss. It’s what we have been doing for years in this chawl.
