You can find us on Jordan Road, right in the Delhi Chakla area of Ahmedabad. We are directly opposite Navrang Hardware, which is a pretty easy landmark if you are looking for us. Being in this part of the city means things are always moving. There is always some noise from the street, people shouting, and horns honking, but we are used to it by now. The shop is a family place. We get kids, fathers, and even the grandfathers coming in. It is a bit of a traditional spot, I suppose. We don't have any of those big flashy lights or expensive decor. Just the basic stuff you need for a haircut or a shave. We’ve been at this location for some time, and the neighborhood has changed a lot, but the shop stays mostly the same. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It is that kind of place. Sometimes people just stop by to say hello while they are out buying things at the hardware store across the road. Ahmedabad is a big city, but Delhi Chakla feels like its own little village sometimes. We just keep the scissors moving and make sure the floor is swept. It’s hard work, standing all day, but it’s what we do. No big secrets to it, just showing up every morning and opening the shutters.
