Mayur Hair Art

Mayur Hair Art is located in the Mayurpankh Society area. We are tucked into Umiya Vijay Lane in Satellite. If you are near the Jansi Ki Rani Statue Circle, we are just a short walk from there. This part of Ahmedabad is always crowded, so our shop feels like a little bit of a break from the noise. It’s a straightforward hair art shop. We handle cuts and shaves mostly. The shop isn't very big, so things can get a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting. We have a few benches for that. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some posters of different hairstyles that have been there for years. The floor is easy to clean, which is good because we're always cutting hair. We know most of the people who come in because they live in the society or nearby. It’s a very local feel. We don't use any complicated booking systems. You just come in, see who is ahead of you, and wait. We try to work fast but we don't like to rush if someone wants a specific look. It’s a basic business that keeps us busy from morning to night. We’ve seen the Satellite area change a lot, but our little shop has stayed pretty much the same. It’s just how we like it. We have a small TV that is usually on the news or a cricket match. It keeps the customers entertained while we work.
