Marvel Engineering Company

Marvel Engineering Company is located at 28 Deivasigamani Road in Royapettah. It’s an old part of the city and we’ve been part of the landscape here for a while. The building isn't anything to look at twice, but it works for us. Inside, there is usually the sound of machines or someone hammering at something. We deal with engineering parts and repairs mostly. The road outside can get quite jammed up with scooters and cars, especially in the mornings. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets pretty bad, so we take breaks when we can. We aren't a huge operation, just a handful of us who know how to handle the equipment. Most of our tools have been with us for years. We get a lot of locals dropping in with small jobs, or bigger firms sending over parts they need looked at. It’s a lot of grease and metal filings on the floor by the end of the shift. We try to keep things running smooth, but machines break down and parts get delayed just like anywhere else. We just do the work as it comes in and try to stay on top of the schedule. Royapettah is a good place for a shop like ours.
