You can find us at Shop No 1 in Laxmi Nagar Society. We are up on the first floor, so you have to look up a bit when you are walking by. This is on the road that goes from Akhbar Nagar to Bhimjipura. We are right opposite Mangalam Saree, which is a big landmark people use to find us. New Vadaj is where we call home. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. It’s a busy street, especially near Krushna Nagar. Our shop, Mann Beauty Hair Art, is pretty straightforward. We do hair, we do some beard trims, and that’s about it. We don't have a fancy coffee machine or a waiting lounge. Just some plastic chairs for when it’s your turn. The floor gets swept a lot because we get a lot of walk-ins. It's a bit of a climb to the first floor but it keeps the dust out. The neighborhood is good, mostly families and shop owners. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. Ahmedabad 380013 is the area. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise but they keep us cool. It isn't a corporate place with uniforms. We just wear what we have and get to work. It’s a practical little shop for the people around New Vadaj. Most days we are busy from morning till night.
