Manhar Hair Salon

Our salon is located down by Gitanjali School, right near Manahar Society in the Shahibaug area. It’s a lively spot, especially when the school lets out and the kids are running around. We are situated right opposite Civil Corner, which is a big landmark that everyone around here knows. The shop itself is a humble place. We have the usual barber chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years, but they’re still sturdy and comfortable. We’ve tried to make the space work well even though it’s not the biggest room in the world. There’s a bit of a hum from the street outside, but once you’re in the chair, it’s mostly just the sound of the scissors. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time, so we’ve seen kids grow up and start bringing their own children here. It’s a nice feeling to be such a permanent part of the street. We don't really do any big promotions or anything like that. Most of our regulars just show up when they look in the mirror and decide it's time for a haircut. We keep the combs in the blue liquid and the capes folded up neatly. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. We like the rhythm of it, the morning rush, the quiet lunch hour, and then the busy evening when everyone is heading home from work or school.
