Mahakali Hair Art

We are located right near Batasa Pole on Gandhi Road. It’s a very old part of Ahmedabad, so it’s always busy around here. You can find us right opposite the Mens Wear Tailor. The shop isn't very big, but we make it work. Gandhi Road has so many shops, but people usually find their way to us. We’ve been cutting hair here for quite some time now. It’s a simple hair art shop. We have the usual chairs and mirrors you’d expect. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming since they were kids. Now they bring their own kids. We don't use any fancy talk or try to sell you things you don't need. You come in, get your hair cut, and go about your day. The area can get really crowded, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but we are used to it by now. It’s just the way life is in this part of the city. We keep the floor swept and the scissors sharp. That’s about all there is to it. We don't have any grand goals written on the walls, just a regular day’s work for us. If you’re walking down Gandhi Road, look for the tailor shop and you’ll see us right across. We might not have air conditioning that works all the time, but we have a good ceiling fan that keeps the air moving while we work. It's a loud, busy, and honest place to be.
