Madhu Silica Pvt.Ltd. is based out of Ahmedabad, over at 7, Ishwarpark Society. The area is fairly typical for this part of Gujarat, with a mix of residential and small business setups. Working with silica means we deal with a lot of heavy lifting and logistics. Our office isn’t anything too grand, just a place where the paperwork gets filed and the phone stays ringing. Most of the time, we are busy coordinating shipments or checking on the quality of the batches. The sun can get pretty intense here, so the office usually has the curtains drawn in the middle of the day. We have a few desks and some old filing cabinets that have been here since the start. It’s a practical space. We don't have a big reception area or a team of people in suits. It’s just us making sure the silica gets to where it needs to go. Sometimes the delivery drivers stop by for a chat while they wait for their papers to be signed. The neighbors in Ishwarpark are mostly quiet, which is nice when things get hectic. We usually keep the fans on full speed to keep the air moving while we sort through the daily orders. It’s the kind of work that keeps you busy from morning until evening, and by the time we lock up at night, we’ve usually handled quite a bit of material for the day.
