Our office is on the sixth floor of the Sur Mount Building. We are at 601, right across from the Iscon Mega Mall on the S. G. Highway. From the windows, you can see the cars zooming by on the highway all day. It’s a busy part of town. Inside, there are lots of tables with computers and big monitors for the engineering work. It gets a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once, but mostly it is just the sound of typing and fans. We spend a lot of time staring at drawings and calculating things. It is technical work, but we are just regular people doing it. Sometimes we go over to the mall for lunch if we want something different, but usually we just bring food from home. The elevator in this building is a bit slow, so we have to leave early if we have a meeting downstairs. We've got piles of folders everywhere. It isn't the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. Being on the S. G. Highway makes it easy for people to find us, though the traffic can be a real headache in the evenings. We stay late quite often when a project is due. The lights from the mall across the street look pretty good once it gets dark. It is just a workspace where we try to get the numbers right and keep things moving.
