Lotus Beauty Salon & Spa

Our salon is in Maninagar, Ahmedabad. We are at Sumti Avenue, specifically A/2 on the first floor. It’s right across from Rajkamal Bakery. You can usually smell the fresh bread and biscuits from our windows in the morning. We do both beauty and spa work here. The Bhairavnath Road area is always busy with traffic and people walking. Inside, we try to keep it a bit more peaceful for the customers. We have a few rooms for massages and a main area for hair and nails. The lighting is okay, maybe a bit dim in the spa rooms. We’ve been here for a few years. My staff knows most of the ladies in the neighborhood. We use regular products you’d find at any supply store. Sometimes the sink leaks a little, but we put a bucket under it and keep going. It’s just how things go in an old building. We aren’t a big chain, just a local Maninagar business. People come in for a quick haircut or a longer spa day when they have time. We have some magazines on the table for people waiting. They are usually old ones from last year. We don’t mind. Ahmedabad gets very dusty, so we have to wipe the counters and mirrors every hour. We don't talk much while working unless the customer wants to chat. It’s a simple life at Lotus Beauty Salon & Spa. Just a regular place for regular people who want to look okay.
