You can find us at Mistry Chambers on the first floor in Khanpur, Ahmedabad 380001. We work under the name Lloyds Register Asia, and specifically, we have a surveyor based here. It’s an old-school kind of building, the kind with thick walls and a bit of history to it. Working in Khanpur means we are right in the thick of things in the city. The office is usually quiet, filled with technical manuals and inspection reports. Being a surveyor involves a lot of detail, so we spend a lot of time looking at plans and checking numbers. It’s not the kind of work you can rush through. We take our time to make sure things are correct. The heat in Ahmedabad can be quite something in May, so the fans are always spinning at full speed. We’ve been in this building for a long time, and we know the other tenants pretty well. It’s a professional environment but in a very grounded, practical way. We don't have fancy modern furniture; we have desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We handle our emails, take our phone calls, and go out on site when needed. It’s a steady rhythm. Sometimes we stay late when a big report is due, and other times we finish up and head out to beat the traffic. It’s just a normal job with normal daily challenges.
