Lips & Tips Family Beauty Salon is situated at 1824 Nava Road in the Astodia area. We are right in the middle of the Astodia Rangati Kapad Bazaar, so you can imagine how lively it gets around here. The sounds of the market are always coming through the door, with people bargaining and vendors shouting. Our salon is a place for the whole family, so we get a real mix of people every day. It’s a busy environment, and we’ve had to learn how to work quickly when the market is at its peak. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve made the most of the space we have. We have the basic stations set up for hair and other small jobs. It’s a bit of a maze to get through the bazaar sometimes, but once people find us, they usually come back. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just a place where you can get cleaned up or fixed up without any fuss. I like the energy of being in the Kapad Bazaar; it feels like the real heart of the city. We have some old mirrors that have seen many faces over the years. We keep the towels clean and the tools ready. Most days are long and tiring, but seeing the families come in together makes it feel worth the effort. It’s just a regular business doing regular work in a very busy part of town.
