Lalaji & Company

You can find us at Shop No. 5 in Maheshwari Society. We are located on Amber Cinema Road in the Bapunagar area. It’s a pretty lively neighborhood with a lot of shops packed together. Lalaji & Company has been here for years, and the building shows its age a little bit. We have a small front counter where we handle most of the business. Behind that, it is mostly just storage. Things are a bit cramped inside, so you have to be careful not to knock anything over when you walk through the aisles. We don't have a big staff, just a few local guys who have been with us for a long time. There are no fancy uniforms or polished sales pitches here. We just talk to people like normal neighbors. The road outside is usually full of scooters and people walking to the cinema. It gets quite loud in the evenings, but we don't mind the energy. We keep a small radio playing in the background most of the time. The lighting inside is a bit dim, but it stays cool even when the sun is hitting the street hard. We aren't trying to be some big national chain. We are just a local shop trying to do things the right way. Most of our day is spent checking inventory and talking to folks who have been coming to us for decades. It is a simple life and a simple business.
