Lakme Salon

So we are based in Maninagar, right on the second floor of Jay House. If you know the area, it is pretty easy to find because we are just opposite TGB Cafe and that Tanishq jewelry shop. Most people use those as landmarks when they are trying to find us for the first time. Ram Baug is right there too, so it gets quite busy around here in the evenings. We’ve been here for a while now. The salon itself isn't huge but it has enough space for what we do. Usually, the day starts with us setting up the chairs and checking the mirrors. You can hear the traffic from the main road all day long. Sometimes it is a bit noisy, but that is just how it is in this part of Ahmedabad. Most of the people who come in are locals living nearby or folks who are out shopping in Maninagar and decide to stop by. We just focus on the hair and skin work. It is not a very fancy setup, just a practical place where you get your stuff done. The staff is mostly busy with the regulars who have been coming for years. We don't really do much big talk, just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first person to walk in. Jay House is an older building, but it stays cool enough inside during the summer. Anyway, that is where we are if you ever pass by.
