You can find us on the Bilimora Amalsad Road, which is a busy stretch connecting the towns. The Lakhani Campus is quite large, so you can’t really miss it if you’re driving toward Amalsad. It’s got a lot of open space which is nice because it gives the students some room to breathe. Bilimora is a quiet town for the most part, but this road gets plenty of trucks and cars. Inside the gates, though, it’s mostly just the sound of kids talking or the teachers giving their lectures. The classrooms are basic but they do the job. We have some trees around the edges of the property that provide a bit of shade when the sun is out. Most of the children here come from Navsari or the smaller villages nearby, so there’s a lot of talk about local things. We don’t go in for anything too decorative. The walls have some charts and student drawings pinned up, which looks a bit messy sometimes but it shows they’re working. In the rainy season, the ground gets a bit muddy, but we manage. Everyone knows everyone else around here, so it feels more like a community spot than a big institution. The staff mostly lives close by, so they understand the local problems and the way things work in this part of Gujarat. It’s just a regular school day, every day, without much fuss or bother.
