Krishna Hair & Care

At Krishna Hair & Care, we’ve set up our little shop at Number 8 in the Mangalmurthi Complex. It’s right on Sola Road in Naranpura, which most people around here know pretty well. We are quite close to the Naranpura Telephone Exchange, so that’s a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. The shop itself is pretty modest. We have the standard mirrors and chairs, and the floor is usually covered in bits of hair by the end of a busy afternoon. I like the routine of opening up, turning on the lights, and getting things organized for the day. You see all sorts of people coming through these doors. Some are in a hurry to get to work, while others have all the time in the world to talk about the cricket scores or the local news. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights, just the name on the front and the work we do inside. It’s a quiet life for the most part, punctuated by the sound of clippers and the occasional car horn from the street. The complex gets busy during the middle of the day, but we just stay focused on whoever is sitting in the chair at the moment. It’s about being reliable and being here when people need a haircut. We’ve grown fond of this corner of Naranpura over the years. It’s a decent place to spend the day and earn a living.
