Krishna Filters & Fabrics

We are tucked away in Mahadev Estate Part-1, which is over in Ramol. It is No. 23 if you are looking for the sign among all the other units. The estate is always busy with trucks coming in and out, and the road gets a bit muddy when it rains. Inside the unit, it is mostly just big rolls of industrial fabric and filter materials piled up against the walls. It is a quiet kind of work compared to the neighbors, but there is always the hum of the machines in the background. My desk is in the corner, usually covered in samples and bits of loose thread. Ramol isn't the center of the city, so it takes a bit of time for deliveries to get out to C.T.M., but we make it work anyway. I usually spend most of my time checking the weight of the fabrics or talking to the guys about the next batch. It is not a glamorous business, filters and fabrics don't look like much to most people. But they are needed for a lot of things. We just stay here and do our bit. The air gets a little thick with lint sometimes, so we keep the big fans going all day long. It is just a regular warehouse feel, nothing polished or fancy about it. We have got a small kettle for making tea, and we usually eat lunch together on the crates. It is a decent way to spend the day and keeps us busy enough.
