Komal Beauty Parlour

Komal Beauty Parlour is located out on Nikol Road, right across from the Uttam Nagar Power Station. It’s on the floor above the Radhe Fashion Shop, so you have to look up a bit to see our sign. Kothiya Hospital is quite close as well, so there is always a lot of activity on the street below with people going to the clinic or the shops. Being above a fashion store is actually quite handy because people often buy a new outfit and then come upstairs to see about getting their hair or makeup done. The stairs are a bit steep, but once you are inside, the parlor is a decent size with plenty of light. We have the usual equipment like hair dryers and reclining chairs that have been around for a few years. Nikol has grown a lot lately, so we see a mix of old residents and new people who have just moved into the area. I usually keep a bottle of water and some glasses on a tray for anyone who comes in thirsty from the dusty road. The noise from the power station and the traffic is just something you get used to after a while. It is a simple, honest place where we work long hours to keep things running. I don't use any fancy words to describe what we do; we just handle the daily beauty needs of the neighborhood ladies.
