Kira Engineers

Kira Engineers is based at Plot No. 147 on Road Number 5. We are inside the Kathwada GIDC, which is part of the larger Odhav Industrial Estate. It’s a very industrial part of the city, and you can see that from the moment you turn onto the road. There are workshops and factories everywhere you look. Our plot is a decent size, giving us enough room to do our engineering work. It’s often quite noisy with the sound of metal being worked on and the heavy fans running. The floor is usually covered in some dust or shavings, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. We’ve been here in Odhav for a while, and we’ve seen the estate change and grow. Most of the people working here have been with us for years. We know the other business owners on Road Number 5, and we sometimes borrow tools or help each other out. It’s a gritty, honest place to spend a workday. We don’t have a big office; it’s mostly just the workshop where the real work happens. When the heat gets bad in the afternoon, we just keep going and drink plenty of water. There’s a sense of satisfaction in finishing a job and seeing it ready to go out the door. We don't worry about being fancy, just about doing the engineering tasks that come our way every day.
