Khodiyar Hair Art

Khodiyar Hair Art is a small shop located in Badial Limdi, right in the Asarwa area. It is one of those places that has been around the corner for years. We do not have a big sign with neon lights, just the name above the door. Most men in the neighborhood come here for a quick shave or a haircut when they have some free time. Asarwa is a busy part of Ahmedabad, so there is always noise from the scooters outside. The shop is not very big, just a couple of chairs and some old mirrors that have seen better days. But they work fine for what we do. I like being in this part of town because everyone knows everyone. You walk down the street and say hello ten times before you reach the shop. Sometimes we have a few people waiting and they just lean against the wall and chat about the cricket or the weather. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a fan that keeps the air moving. We do not do anything too complicated, just standard cuts and shaves for the local guys. It is a simple life and a simple business. If you are looking for us, just ask anyone near Badial Limdi and they will point you the right way. We are usually here from morning until late evening most days just doing our work.
