Keshkala Hair Salon

We've been running Keshkala Hair Salon for a while now here in Panchwati Society. If you know Sola Road, you probably know where we are, just near Paras Nagar. It's a busy enough spot in this part of Ahmedabad. Most days start pretty early for us. We get the shop open, sweep up the floor from the day before, and wait for the first person to walk through the door. Usually it's one of the regulars who lives nearby in the society. They just want a quick trim or a shave before they head off to work. It isn't anything fancy here. We have our chairs and the big mirrors that we try to keep clean despite all the dust that comes in from the road outside. Ahmedabad gets quite hot in the afternoons, so people usually duck in for a bit of shade and a haircut when things are quiet. We don't have some big corporate team or anything like that. It is just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes the tea guy stops by and we have a quick break together. We see families from the society coming in together on the weekends. Kids get nervous sometimes but they sit through it eventually. We've seen a lot of people grow up in this neighborhood while they sit in our chairs. It is just a normal hair salon where people talk about the news or what is happening on the street while we work.
