Kesar Hair Salon

Our salon is at number 3 in the Kanchanbhumi Apartment building. This is right on the 100 Feet Ring Road in the Ambavadi area. Being on the ring road means there is always a lot of noise from cars and bikes passing by all day and night. We are also quite close to Sima Hall which is a place everyone in Ahmedabad seems to know. The apartment block is easy to spot from the main road. Inside the shop we have a few chairs and all the regular equipment for hair. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy talk here. We just do the work and let people get on with their day. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it clean even when it gets busy. In the summer the heat comes off the asphalt outside so we try to keep the shop cool for whoever is sitting in the chair. Ambavadi is a nice area and we get a mix of people coming in. Some are in a hurry and some want to stay and chat about the news or the weather. We have some shelves with various bottles and jars on them but they are mostly just for daily use. It is a practical place for a haircut or a shave. We have been here at Kanchanbhumi for a while now and the neighbors are all friendly people who live in the flats right above our heads.
